Dollywood’s Wildwood Grove

Designed and built by LifeFormations and produced by the Imagination House, the Wildwood Tree is a towering centerpiece in Dollywood’s new Wildwood Grove.

Weigl Control is proud to be a part of this project, providing show playback, as well as engineering services for the 650 RGB LED butterflies with pixel map wing quadrants populating the massive 50 foot tall tree. The butterflies twinkle and change color to music across 22 universes of DMX, all locked to network timecode provided via a Q-SYS Core to a ProCommander® AX.

Weigl Control would also like to thank Avolites for providing their new Synergy software and console hardware which streamlined the programing process and allowed for immersive layering of shape effects directly from the desk.
